"Just wanted to put on record how delighted we were with your music at the wedding reception at Inchyra last weekend. All the guests have raved about you, and we just wish we'd asked you to play for longer! It was a perfect musical addition to a very happy day. We were thrilled you were able to play for us. We'll certainly recommend you ... With thanks from ... the happy couple too" |

"Thanks so much for playing such wonderful music at our wedding celebration. Your band's musical ability is top notch and handing out the percussion instruments around to the kids was a stroke of genius. Playing the conch and pieces from the buena vista social club where my personal highlights. We had a such a wonderful evening and your musical sets were the icing on the cake. When we are next in Edinburgh we will be sure to look you up and see if you are playing anywhere in town" |

"You really were terrific. Your Pied Pipers routine from one tent to the other was a wonderful way of punctuating the evening, and your gentle accompaniment to dinner was perfect. Then when the time came you ensured that the dance floor filled up immediately and was rarely empty thereafter. We really couldn't have asked for a better way of getting that stage of the party swinging." |

"Thank you so much for your brilliant entertainment at our wedding in Glasgow on Saturday. You were a massive hit and all our guests wanted to find out more information about you so we pointed them to your website! We had a fantastic day and you and the guys brought the party atmosphere with your amazing music. Your rendition of 'Down in the Hole' was just incredible. If there was a sixth series of The Wire, we'd be campaigning to have your version used as the title theme! Our guests also loved you handing out the percussion instruments so they could all join in. Fantastic. Thanks again for all your help, patience and professionalism. It's been such a pleasure working with you!" |

"I wanted to say a huge thank you to all of you for a fantastic performance on Saturday night and for playing throughout dinner. The feedback has been excellent and a great number of people specifically said how much they enjoyed your music, so much, so we have passed on website details to quite a few people. Thank you all so much again and it was a pleasure working with you and hope we may do so again in the future." |

"Many thanks for providing us with excellent entertainment at our wedding. The music was great and really put us in the mood for our honeymoon in Brasil! Also thanks again for leaving your PA system behind for us to use for the i-pod. We'll be along to Number 80 soon for some more Dias sounds to remind us of sunnier days on holiday." |

"What a great show at the Rutherglen Town Hall last night. You guys were on top form and it was a real pleasure to have the talents of the Dias Quartet on our doorstep. Haste ye back!" |

"Just a note to say thanks for some great music at Bar Brel on 6th Oct. My husband and I enjoyed some of the best Bossa/Jazz we have heard in years. Your album has been worn thin with constant play and the second one we bought is winging its way to Hong Kong . We note that you are playing Rutherglen Town Hall next week and will try to get tickets. We are looking forward to the 1st Dec to you performing in Bar Brel again. Keep up the good work" |

"LINKnet held its first social evening for mentors and mentees on 7 March in Old St Paul's Church Hall. We ate, we danced, we had lots of fun!! Around 35 mentors, mentees and Board members attended an enjoyable evening of food music and dance. The proceedings started at 6:30 when guests were served drinks on arrival while listening to background international music. A hot buffet dinner of samosas, pakoras, curry, falafel, bread and various dishes from Pakistan and Middle East was enjoyed by all. Later in the evening we were entertained by Dias Quartet - a foot-stomping funky take on classic Brazilian and Afro-Cuban rhythms. Many danced the night away some were chosen to play percussion for the band. Due to the success of this, our first social night we will be holding another one in late August / Early September. We look forward to welcoming those who were there the first time as well as new mentors and mentees." |
